  • Provisional membership lasts for a maximum of a year.
  • Provisional members are expected to take part in at least 2 Away Meets before they are eligible to apply for Full Membership.

 

The club has agreements with various outdoor shops where members are eligible for discounts in the order of, eg 10% - 15% on production of their membership cards.  This means that it is often possible to recover the initial cost of membership by simply buying a pair of boots or a coat. That is to say nothing of the savings on accommodation that can be made by staying in the club's own hut or as a member visiting other club huts.
