Social Meets
|
The Social Meets programme is now being carried out in collaboration with the ABMSAC, AAC, Fell and Rock, and the Rucksack clubs on a TUESDAY evening as listed below.
All
the lectures will take place at the Civil Service Club in Great
Scotland Yard, Entry is free to TCC Members and guests.
Talks start at The club has a bar which serves
bar-meals. There is also a restaurant,
waiter service – 2-course meal is £13.00, 3-course is £16.00. Great Scotland Yard runs between On-street
parking is free after |

Meetings will usually take the form of an invited speaker with or without an accompanying slide show. Topics in the past have ranged from trekking and climbing in the Himalayas to a whistle stop tour of the geology of the Lake District. In addition, the social meets are an ideal way of getting to meet people for the first time and of course to find out about, and plan, travel arrangements for the forthcoming trips away. |
